The new development marks an evolution in camillo companies product design

Camillo Companies today announced Roots at Townsend Reserve, a thoughtfully designed new section within the growing Townsend Reserve community in Splendora featuring amenities typically found in larger, master-planned developments on a smaller, more intimate scale.


Construction of new homes within the 31-acre expansion is slated to begin by the end of 2026 with Legend Homes as the exclusive builder. 


Roots at Townsend Reserve will feature 301 homesites and emphasize community connection through enhanced green spaces and lifestyle-driven amenities — all designed to complement a more efficient home footprint. 


Home designs in this new section reflect a fresh approach to livability, offering brand-new, space-savvy floorplans that pack exceptional flexibility and comfort into a smaller square footage. With a strong focus on versatility and innovation, buyers will find pocket offices, multi-use flex spaces, and clever storage solutions ideal for work-from-home, growing families, and everyday living.


Residents will also enjoy more than two acres of greenspace at the Turtle Park playground, the Gathering Place entry park with café lighting for neighborhood events, and a third park with putting green and outdoor games. The new section also will offer winding trailways for walking and biking, street art and various art installations.

Most homes will feature two to four bedrooms and offer a mix of front-load and alley-load configurations.
