Legend Homes is pleased to announce that Adolfo Canales has been named Division President for the company’s San Antonio operations, bringing more than two decades of homebuilding leadership experience to the role. Canales joined the team full-time in March 2026. 

“Adolfo’s strong record of operational leadership, market expansion, and customer-focused results makes him an excellent addition to the Legend leadership team,” Legend Homes President Lee Darnold says. “We’re excited to have him lead our San Antonio division and help drive our continued growth in the market.” 

Most recently, Canales served as Division President for Evermore Homes in Arizona, where he led dramatically improved operational results, expanded the future community pipeline, and improved overall profitability. During his tenure, he introduced a first-time buyer product line in a division that had previously maintained an average sales price of $650,000, helping broaden the company’s reach into new buyer segments. 

Prior to Evermore Homes, Canales spent 19 years with Armadillo/View Homes, advancing from Customer Care Representative to Director of Operations, where he oversaw both the San Antonio and Laredo divisions. During his time there, he played a key role in launching the company’s Austin division and helped expand the organization from a first-time buyer-focused builder into a multi-move-up brand (Jeffrey Harrison Homes). The San Antonio and Laredo divisions grew to close a combined 600 homes annually. 

“Adolfo understands the San Antonio market deeply and has demonstrated an ability to build strong teams and deliver consistent results,” Darnold added. “His leadership will help us continue strengthening our presence and delivering the quality homes and communities that our customers expect.” 

Canales earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and is an active leader within the Greater San Antonio Builders Association.
