Just over a decade ago in 2012, Marcello Camillo had a vision to bring quality and affordable rental homes to those whose options were generally limited to apartment-style housing. Today his company, SimplyHome by Camillo, has expanded from Houston into Dallas/Ft. Worth, San Antonio and Bryan/College Station and recently built its 10,000th rental home.

As a pioneer in the rental home and build-to-rent industry, the SimplyHome team has seen exponential growth as the market has evolved and younger generations and empty-nesters are looking for the single-family home lifestyle without the commitment of a long-term mortgage. However, this growth doesn’t happen on vision alone. It took years of dedication from a team who not only saw the vision but worked tirelessly to bring it to life.

From our executives to our leasing team, land development, construction, and marketing gurus who work to bring awareness and grow the Camillo, now SimplyHome name, this is an exciting time for past and present team members.

Our newest community, Villas de Estrella, is the site of our 10,000th home.
